Sorry, not sure how I missed that comment earlier. > I previously experienced this on a standalone without VNC. Could this be the case here too? Do you have an option in your VNC viewer that maps Alt+click to a button 2 click? Googling suggests that some Mac VNC clients at least have options to convert modifier clicks to differently-numbered buttons. This means that the conversion to a middle click (button 2) is done in the VNC viewer. I had a look at the tigervnc sources and the button handling is a straightforward conversion of what comes in over the VNC protocol. This means that the Alt+click → middle click conversion is done in or before tigervnc. And raw events are the ones that come in from the device itself, before the server does any button mapping and well before the event is sent to the client. Second, the raw events show that when alt is down, the button that comes in is indeed button 2:įor reference: detail is the button number. I was under the assumption that this was a non-VNC viewer like the qemu one. First, the xinput log shows that you're using tigervnc to interact with the session. This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated. The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under " Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the " RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type " ", where " X" is a digit). Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status " CLOSED", resolution " MIGRATED", and set with " MigratedToJIRA" in " Keywords". The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. Bugs against components " kernel", " kernel-rt", and " kpatch" are only migrated if still in " NEW" or " ASSIGNED". Bugs of Red Hat partners with an assigned Engineering Partner Manager (EPM) are migrated in late September as per pre-agreed dates. Individual Bugzilla bugs in the statuses " NEW", " ASSIGNED", and " POST" are being migrated throughout September 2023. If you're not, please head to the " RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. I think it's a pretty fun and useful tool to use, even though it doesn't have much practical use.RHEL Engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on RHEL 6 through RHEL 9 to Red Hat Jira ( ). Chrome and other modern browsers will limit and compress your polling rate to your refresh rate. If you want to use this site, you MUST use Internet Explorer. I tried experimenting with what effect a longer distance the mouse is from the receiver and other obstructions (other wires, receiver under/on top of desk etc.) had on the mouse's performance. You can also see the effects of polling rate, which I think is very interesting. What I found from this site is that GPW input lag is about 2.1ms, normal mice have about 8ms input lag, and a cheap Chinese Gaming mouse from "Inphic" has 4ms of input lag. I'm sure this isn't as good as actual breadboard/USB monitor testing, but it does the job alright. ![]() If you are interested in your mouse's input lag (cursor input lag), you can use this site I found on the internet to test it: If you wish to be added to the sidebar, please provide the mods with proof of connection with your company through mod mail.īe sure to check out our sister peripheral/input subreddits: Razer - /u/Razer_TheFiend /u/seeson /u/Cult_Of_Razer /u/razer-right /u/Razer_Pebo /u/razerbenz Logitech - /u/LogitechG_Coonrad /u/Logitech_CSLaurie /u/logi_jim /u/logi_pr /u/logi_as /u/logi_dm /u/logi_ss ![]() Lethal Gaming Gear - u/dheisman21882 /u/xSEEBEEx Glorious - /u/woox13 /u/GloriousZaper u/GloriousBIG /u/GloriousEmpress /u/GloriousPanther_ /u/GloriousKeem Welcome to /r/MouseReview!
